Our Technology

At Destination Dental we use leading-edge dental technology to provide you with safe, fast, and effective results!

Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera is a handheld appliance that is shaped like a wand. The tiny camera at the tip of the appliance takes hundreds of pictures per second to capture an in-depth and accurate image of your mouth. This image is sometimes used to create a digital impression of your teeth and gums. A digital impression is particularly useful for same-day dental crowns.

Digital X-ray

In the past, most dental professionals had to use the traditional x-ray systems, which require film development. These days, we use digital x-rays due to their many benefits. A digital x-ray is safer and much quicker than its film predecessor. If the image comes out blurry, we can instantly retake a new one. Digital x-rays are a crucial diagnostic tool that helps us gain a better understanding of the inner workings of your mouth, more specifically, the teeth, roots, and alveolar bone.

Soft Tissue Laser

A soft tissue laser is a gentle, modern tool we use in dentistry to care for your gums and other soft tissues in your mouth. The laser uses a focused beam of light to treat specific areas with precision and comfort.

This technology allows us to reduce bacteria around the gums and improve healing outcomes.
Most patients find laser treatment to be very comfortable with faster healing times. It's a quiet, low-stress option that helps us care for your smile in the most soothing and effective way possible.

Cone Beam CT Scan (3D Imaging)

At our office, we use gentle, advanced technology called CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) to take detailed 3D images of your teeth, gums, jawbone, and surrounding structures; all in a single, comfortable scan.

This type of imaging gives Dr. Manoush Farzin a clear and comprehensive view that goes beyond what traditional X-rays can show. It helps us better understand your unique dental anatomy so we can plan your care with precision and confidence.

We may use CBCT imaging to:
•  Plan dental implants and other surgical procedures
•  Map out orthodontic treatments in detail
•  Detect areas of concern not visible on standard 2D X-rays

The scan is quick, non-invasive, and provides valuable insights that allow us to care for you with the highest level of accuracy and comfort.
